While botox has no direct effect on the regrowth or regeneration of hair follicles, injection of botox into the scalp, relaxes the muscles in the dermis, thus allowing releasing the pressure on the micro-vasculature. This in turn, increases the circulation in the scalp, thus allowing higher amount of nutrients to reach the follicles.
