Warts

A wart is a small growth with a rough texture that can appear anywhere on the body. It can look like a solid blister or a small cauliflower. Warts are caused by viruses from the human papillomavirus (HPV) family. These are highly infectious and can spread from one part of the body to another and from one person to another on close contact.

Treatment includes removal of these warts by radiofrequency under topical or local anaesthesia. After removal the skin takes about a week to heal. Recurrence is known and follow up treatments are required often.
