Cold Sore

Cold sores otherwise known as fever blisters – are an extremely common infection that causes a small blister or a group of small blisters to form around the mouth and nostrils. Anyone can get a cold sore and most people will contract one by physical contact with an affected person.

Cold sores are generally harmless in most healthy adults, apart from being contagious. They usually occur when one has high fever or immunity is compromised due to any other reason.

Treatment includes oral antiviral medicines
